The Big One…

Posted on March 30th, 2008 by Adam Brucker

Trying my hand at a 6-foot by 6-foot, “straight lines into curves” installation on the wall of the guest bedroom in our basement.

The outer frame is up and the first couple of laps around it are done. We’ll see how it comes along, but I envision another 50 or 60 layers along with a separate center frame tilted 45 degrees to fill the gap in the middle.

I’ll post more pictures as I continue to work on it.

Hitting The Reset Button

Posted on February 21st, 2008 by Adam Brucker

reset_button.jpgFinally had a bit of free time and energy today to begin the complete overhaul of all-things-adam-online. From now on, just about everything that I have on the web will now flow through this site in some way or another.

I’ve enjoyed branching out and developing lots of new things over the past year, but lately it’s become too hard to keep everything updated in a timely manner. Now’s the time to pull in the reigns and connect the dots, so to speak…

Enjoy….

What Do I Do Now?

Posted on December 3rd, 2007 by Adam Brucker

I’ve been trying to eat healthier over the past few months and have been buying lots of new fruits and vegetables to try. Having mastered everything from baby bok choy to the brussels sprout, imagine my surprise when I cut open this pomegranate:

More Straight Lines Into Curves

Used an old bike rim for this one. Needs better light for the pictures but you get the idea…

Define “Problem”

Posted on June 11th, 2007 by Adam Brucker

After 7 or 8 years, and about 500 bottles of wine, these little guys are headed off to a dart-board project. Thought they looked pretty cool as I was sorting them…

Needed to fill up a big empty wall in the living room. I used to draw these in school in my graph-paper lab notebooks (hence the reason I’m not an engineer today) and thought it would work well in this spot. That’s a 4×4 piece of aluminum peg board with about 400 inch and a half carriage bolts screwed into it (the fun part). 800 feet of yarn later here’s what you get…
